Ksenia Nakamura, Infants and Toddlers Ms. Ksenia Nakamura
Infant & Toddler

My husband serves in the Army, which is what brought us to Kansas. Prior to becoming a mother, I was pursuing a career in hospitality and hotel management. My life changed when I had my son. After staying home with him for 3 years, it was time for a new chapter. I started working at Loving Arms in the infant room while my son attends the preschool here. I love working with little ones, and I believe that the first three years of a child's life is crucial in terms of experiences that the child is exposed to as it sets the foundation for their future life. Therefore, I love interacting with my little babies and try my best to provide them with quality caregiving experience.

Shayla Hall, Toddlers Ms. Shayla Hall

I am from a small town in Indiana. My husband is a U.S. Army soldier. We have been married for almost four years. We have a three year old son, who is our entire world. I am currently enrolled in college courses and have had previous experience in childcare. I have worked for Loving Arms since June 2016. I have really enjoyed watching the children grow and learn new things each day. The smiles and giggles make my day! I Love being a part of the staff here at Loving Arms Childcare and Preschool!

Kristen Tainatongo, Preschool Ms. Kristen Tainatongo

I graduated from Junction City High School, went to Allen Community College on a soccer scholarship. After I received my Associates in Arts, I decided to further my education through Ottawa University. I came to Loving Arms in hopes of gaining experience in child development and enhance my pursuit of my bachelors in Psychology. Loving arms has given me more than that. After a year away from Loving Arms, I applied again with hope that I would be able to work with the kids and the amazing staff. Aside from school, I spend my free time working on cars and thinking of ideas on what my students will enjoy doing. I have been told I am pretty creative - the secret is being surrounded by tiny human beings and you will learn to think out of the box.
