Loving Arms™ Childcare and Preschool Center was established in 1994 as a licensed in-home daycare, caring for up to 10 children at one time. It was founded on the principle that all families should be able to find quality, reliable and affordable childcare.
Establishment of our Center for Loving Arms™ Childcare and Preschool
Since the establishment of our previous in-home daycare, our love of working with children has driven our commitment to acquire the education and experience to grow from an in-home childcare provider to an established full-time childcare center. We accomplished this feat within five years. We acquired the accreditation and education to move into a separate facility and transition into being a licensed childcare center with the capacity to care for up to 91 children. Loving Arms™ Childcare and Preschool has always been committed to furthering our childcare team's education and in implementing the best practices to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Our Childcare Facility in Junction City, KS
Throughout our experience in providing childcare, we realized the need to provide a more complete range of family support services.
In 2005 that vision of meeting those needs became a reality by providing families with tools for budgeting, time management, parenting, and managing today's stressors with the opening of our 9,000 sq. ft., tri-level facility which encompasses family support services (through our non-profit Loving Arms™ Learning Center) and our childcare center located in Junction City near the Ft. Riley military installation.
We have worked tirelessly to become partnered with other community and military subsidy programs to help with childcare costs for families that qualify for parents that are working or attending college. Some of the programs we are approved through are the Kansas Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Child Care Aware® national program. Our family support services also encompass the unique needs of military families needing childcare for spouses when their Service Members are deployed from Fort Riley for either combat service or training. By providing programs that include before and after school childcare and many childcare program schedules, we are able to address the childcare needs of our military community as well.
It is the focus of Loving Arms™ Childcare and Preschool to continue to offer support for healthy, happy, and well-balanced families.
